The Sebel Poolside Café is looking for an experienced Barista to take charge of our small café at The Sebel Whitsundays.

Think early mornings, beautiful surroundings, happy holidaymakers and being finished before most people have even decided what they’re having for lunch!

☀️ 6:30am – 11:30am
📅 Open 7 days a week
☕ Experienced Barista
🌴 The Sebel Whitsundays, Airlie Beach

We’re looking for someone who:

Knows their way around a coffee machine
Can make a great coffee consistently
Loves chatting with guests
Is confident working independently
Can take ownership of the café and make it their own
Brings a positive attitude and a little personality to the morning shift

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in hospitality without giving up their entire day.

Reducing their numbers, length of stay or mobility would hurt businesses and visitor experiences. We are asking government to protect Working Holidays and consult tourism before making changes.

Maintenance Handyperson | Full Time
We are currently seeking an energetic, customer focused and experienced
Maintenance Handyperson. Working closely with the Guest Services Managers,
housekeeping and reception teams you will be responsible to ensure well
maintained rooms and public areas. The ability to work on weekends is a must,
local resident highly regarded.
This position requires a minimum 12 month contract – if you are unable to
commit for a minimum of 12 months please do not apply.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms
and public areas
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition
• Ensuring our high-quality standards are maintained
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with Guests
• Basic gardening duties
The successful candidate will have:

at Hotel Group is seeking an enthusiastic, professional and customer-focused Full-Time Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office team at The Sebel Whitsundays.

Located in the heart of Airlie Beach, The Sebel Whitsundays offers premium apartment-style accommodation and outstanding guest experiences in one of Australia’s most iconic holiday destinations. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every stay is welcoming, seamless and memorable.

About the Role

Reporting to the Guest Service Manager and General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional front office operations while maintaining the highest standards of guest service.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Welcoming guests and managing check-in and check-out procedures
* Managing reservations and guest enquiries
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest accounts
* Providing local knowledge and personalised recommendations
* Responding to guest requests and resolving issues professionally
* Liaising with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure exceptional guest experiences
* Assisting with daily Front Office administration
* Promoting hotel facilities, upgrades and additional services

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous customer service or hotel Front Office experience (preferred)
* A genuine passion for hospitality
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Strong attention to detail
* Confidence using computer systems (experience with Resly is highly regarded)
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
