at Hotel Group is seeking an enthusiastic, professional and customer-focused Full-Time Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office team at The Sebel Whitsundays.
Located in the heart of Airlie Beach, The Sebel Whitsundays offers premium apartment-style accommodation and outstanding guest experiences in one of Australia’s most iconic holiday destinations. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every stay is welcoming, seamless and memorable.
About the Role
Reporting to the Guest Service Manager and General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional front office operations while maintaining the highest standards of guest service.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming guests and managing check-in and check-out procedures
* Managing reservations and guest enquiries
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest accounts
* Providing local knowledge and personalised recommendations
* Responding to guest requests and resolving issues professionally
* Liaising with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure exceptional guest experiences
* Assisting with daily Front Office administration
* Promoting hotel facilities, upgrades and additional services
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous customer service or hotel Front Office experience (preferred)
* A genuine passion for hospitality
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Strong attention to detail
* Confidence using computer systems (experience with Resly is highly regarded)
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
