10 wonderful years of our gorgeous boy Jeff ❤️

Jeff is a Groodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle x).

He is the absolute joy of our family and is super spoilt!

He has epilepsy and unfortunately horrible seizures as a result. A lot less now that he is on medication thankgoodness. He suffers from anxiety as well and usually a breakthrough seizure occurs after a stressful event (a strange visitor or Mum/Dad going away for a few days).

Interestingly, he has never had a seizure on Kangaroo Island and the runs on the beach where he feels free and safe do wonders for him.

Happy Birthday Jeff! We love you buddy ❤️

And thats ok!

Its important to us as hosts that everything is working as it should be for our guests and so that means regularly replacing things, from light globes, pillows, linen....TVs and everything in between.

This guy was so dramatic, scratching, posing etc.
We sat there for ages and just enjoyed watching him.

Seals will often sleep on the rocks at the Kingscote jetty, so its not uncommon to find them there.

Please keep your distance, remembering they are wild animals and zoom lenses are a wonderful thing!

We do really love our coffee at Seascape Cottage and like to make sure our guests have more than enough to cover them for thier entire stay.

As well as the coffee pods and twinings flavoured teas our coffee station is also fully stocked with coffee syrups, Milo, hot chocolate (and marshmallows) and loose leaf tea. And yes we also stock the good old instant coffee because we know thats what some of our guests prefer.
