In September 1929, The Australian Home Beautiful featured Fortuna Villa in a beautiful article titled “Where History Has Been Made.”

Even then, Fortuna was a place of extraordinary beauty, elegance and history.

Inspired by George Lansell’s fascination with Italy and European grandeur, Fortuna became a remarkable expression of architectural artistry, cultural refinement and a love of beautiful surroundings. Its magnificent interiors, ornamental gardens, tranquil lakes and timeless details tell a story that has endured for generations.

Nearly 170 years after its earliest beginnings, Fortuna Villa remains a precious part of Australia’s architectural heritage. And today, we are proud to continue caring for this extraordinary estate, preserving its beauty and sharing its history with those who appreciate it.

Spring is here, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to Fortuna Villa for our Spring Open Day on 25 October! 🌸

Today, we have sent you an email with all the information about the upcoming Open Day, including details of what you can expect on the day and the options available to you.

We would also like to remind you that food must be pre-ordered in advance. Unfortunately, food orders will not be available on the day, so please make sure to place your order ahead of time if you would like to enjoy our food and refreshments during the Open Day.

✨Thank you to all our wonderful Friends of Fortuna who celebrated Mother’s Day with us this past Sunday.

It was truly a beautiful day filled with elegance, music, laughter, meaningful conversations, and the quiet luxury of slowing down and simply enjoying the moment together.

Guests wandered through the gardens, immersed themselves in the beauty and history of Fortuna Villa, enjoyed private tours, live music in the garden, and the warm atmosphere that makes these gatherings so special.
