We keep learning more about our property.

This rock was found on our Browns Creek walking trail only a km from the house.

We believe it is contains laminated silica and iron rich sedimentary layers from the Neoproterozic era and is approximately 750M years old.

The means that it formed 500M years before the dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Thanks to Jill Thomas and her friends at the Devonport Lapidary Club for cutting and polishing the stone.

A grass tree literally springing from the ground in Spring.

We have over 120 native plant species identified so far on 1,137 acres that can be viewed from our 23 km of private walking tracks in short easy loop options.

No crowded tracks here. Just you and sound of birds chirping.
