Something new for the school holidays!

Watagan’s Jackaroo & Jillaroo 2 Day Clinic. 🐴🌿

Two hands-on days for horse-mad kids to learn what really goes into caring for horses — grooming, handling, tack, safety, horsemanship, games & plenty of time with our four legged friends.

There’s so much more to horses than riding. 🤎

🐴 Ages 8–12
💰 $250 per child for the full two days

We’re keeping the groups small so everyone gets plenty of hands-on time.

Something a little different for October 🌊

We’re planning a Watagan guided beach ride and are taking expressions of interest now.

This one will be open to riders who have completed at least two guided rides with us beforehand — partly so we know our riders and horses before heading somewhere a little further afield together.

If a beach ride sounds like your kind of day but you haven’t joined us twice yet, there’s still time! We have more guided rides coming up throughout September.

A pretty special place to capture some pretty special seasons of life. 🤎📷

50 acres of bush trails, open paddocks, dams, rustic little corners and plenty of beautiful natural light to play with.

Perfect for maternity, newborn, family, couples, branding and equine sessions.

$250 — 2 hour location hire
$300 — 2 hours with horse + handler
Additional horses $50 each, up to 3 horses.

Photographers and clients are both welcome to get in touch for availability.

Our Spring lesson timetable is here. 🌸☺️

We’re opening up more opportunities to join us for lessons at Watagan, with a new set timetable running on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Lessons are centred around practical riding and horsemanship, with a focus on creating safe, responsive horses and confident, capable riders.

We work on the things that matter in everyday life with your horse — building bravery, groundwork and manners in-hand, desensitisation, softness, balance and responsiveness, troubleshooting unwanted behaviours, and developing confidence for the trail.

Our lessons are particularly suited to beginner and intermediate riders, nervous or returning riders, or anyone wanting to improve their relationship and communication with their horse.

There are both private and small group sessions available, with groups kept to just 2–4 riders so everyone still gets plenty of individual coaching.
