One of the great things about staying at White Shells Luxury Apartments Marcoola is how much there is to do beyond the beach. The Eumundi Markets are just 30 minutes away, running every Wednesday and Saturday with hundreds of stalls selling local produce, handmade clothing, art, jewellery, and food.

It makes for a great half day out before heading back to Marcoola for the afternoon. The beach, the boardwalk, and the rooftop pool are all there waiting, and the fully equipped kitchen is handy if you come home with fresh market produce.

Some things a holiday does better than anything else. Slowing down, getting outside, and remembering what it feels like to have nowhere to be. Marcoola Beach is a short walk along the boardwalk from White Shells Luxury Apartments, and on a clear Sunshine Coast day, that walk is a very good idea.

The coastline runs for kilometres in both directions, the water is cool and clear, and the whole stretch of beach tends to be quiet and peaceful at this time of year.
