Willunga Ukuleles Willunga Ukuleles is an informal group of music lovers who share a common desire to play ukulele with others. Go to our website to see full details.

Regular Sessions: We meet in the function room at the Alma Hotel in Willunga, on the first Thursday of each month ... the cost is a gold coin donation. Beginner Sessions: We meet in the function room at the Alma, on the third Wednesday of the month...again, a gold coin donation is welcomed. Song sheets of songs we have arranged are available to download in the Resources section of the site. Or you can send us an email and we will add you to the Contacts List so that you receive reminders and updates. You can enjoy a meal before the session and drinks are available from the bar - but there is no pressure to buy! Mel & Jason are happy to have Willunga Ukuleles use the Alma as their home base.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow… What a Wonderful World!

Have you ever wanted to play Israel Kamakawiwoʻole’s iconic ukulele version of these two much-loved songs? Come along and learn to play it!

At the UKESTRASA SPRING WORKSHOPS on Sunday 22 November at the Glenunga HUB, you’ll learn the strumming pattern, chords and melody to bring this magical medley to life.

Perfect for you if you can already play C, F, G, Am and E7 chords. No need to be an expert - just bring your ukulele and a willingness to have fun!

BONUS! Book a workshop and enjoy the UkestraSA CONCERT at no extra cost! Friends and family are welcome too, with concert-only tickets available.
