What a weekend in Digby! 🙌 From the incredible bikes to the crowds, local businesses and people who travel from near and far to be part of it — there’s nothing quite like Wharf Rat weekend.

Our littlest employee is hard at work! 🍎🐐😂

It’s apple season at Upper Clements Cottages & RV Park, which means there’s a very important job to be done… collecting all those drop apples for the goats!

One of the things we love most about owning a family-run campground is that our daughter gets to grow up right in the middle of it all. Whether she’s helping with the animals, visiting with guests or finding her own little “jobs” around the property, she’s always part of the action. 🤎

And this is part of what makes a stay with us a little different. Come slow down, explore the property, say hello to the goats and bunnies, and enjoy a few days of simple campground life with us. 🌲🐐🐰

🍂 Fall is such a beautiful time to visit the Annapolis Valley, and we’d love to welcome you for a September or October getaway.

One of the most unexpected gifts of owning a campground has been the people who have become part of our lives along the way. 💙

When we moved across the country to Nova Scotia and took on this crazy adventure of raising our family while running Upper Clements Cottages & RV Park, we never could have imagined the friendships and community we would find here.

We are so incredibly grateful for the love, friendship and support that surrounded us. What started as a new business and a new chapter for our family has turned into so much more.

Upper Clements has become our home, our livelihood, the place where our daughter is growing up, and now the place where we’ll soon bring home our baby boy. 🥹

Thank you to everyone who has welcomed our family, supported our little business, checked in on this very pregnant mama 😂, and become part of our lives along the way.

It really does take a village… and we’re pretty grateful for ours. 💙

Now we wait for the newest little member of the Upper Clements family to make his appearance! 👶🏼🌲

The man behind the campground. 🤍

When we packed up our lives and moved across the country to take on a campground, there were a LOT of things we had to learn along the way… and Raul has probably learned more new skills than anyone. 😂

🌱 Groundskeeper
🔧 Maintenance man
🏊 Pool guy
🚜 Equipment operator
🪚 Builder
🐐 Animal caretaker
🧹 Cleaner
💻 Business owner
🔥 And professional problem solver of whatever decides to break that day.

Owning a campground means wearing a lot of hats, and somehow Raul manages to wear them all.

So much of what happens behind the scenes at Upper Clements Cottages & RV Park is because of him. He’s constantly fixing, building, mowing, maintaining, improving and figuring out something new.

He’s truly the backbone of this property and a huge part of the reason everything runs as smoothly as it does. 🤍

Chances are, if you’ve stayed with us, you’ve seen Raul somewhere around the property working on something!

🎉✈️ TODAY’S THE DAY… GRANDMA IS HERE! ❤️

After counting down the days, the big arrival is finally here! Our little one has been SO excited because Grandma is flying in today! 🥰

And this isn’t just any visit… it’s Grandma’s birthday visit! 🎂🎈 What better way to celebrate than with some quality family time here at Upper Clements?

Grandma is arriving just in time to lend a hand around the campground, enjoy some special time with her grandbaby, and help us get ready for a very exciting new chapter…

👶🏼 Baby #2 will be joining us VERY soon! 💕

We’re soaking up these precious days together before we head off to the hospital and our family grows by two tiny feet. 🥹❤️
