📋 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 📋

Chief Inspector Decimus of the Seasonal Accountability Committee regrets to inform the community that Takysie Lake Resort has failed yet another seasonal inspection.

The violation: a “Spring is in the Air” sign remains prominently displayed on site… as of September.

Staff have been fined and sentenced to mandatory community service.

As today marks the official last day of summer vacation, those community service hours will now be served within their off-season hours schedule, commencing Tuesday, September 8th.

Anyone wishing to confirm this schedule is advised to consult the resort’s Facebook banner image, updated to reflect this ruling.

The Committee thanks you for your continued vigilance.

The seasons will soon be a-changing and so will our hours!

September 8 marks the kiddos grand return to school and Takysie's grand return to off-season hours.

The hardware store will remain accessible 7 days a week during the chilly months, but will be moving to on an "on-call" basis. Ring the door bell, and we'll come a-running! :)

🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS: Two local handymen clad in spandex have achieved victory over a notoriously rebellious refrigerator door that has been terrorizing Takysie staff and Southside locals alike for many months.

In honour of this historic achievement, September 2nd shall henceforth be known as Allan & Jesse Day.

Applications are now open for local artisans interested in designing the official Allan & Jesse monument.

That was FUN!!

We don’t make it off site too often, but this past Friday we were let loose to enjoy the sunshine and good vibes down at the spillway for the annual community BBQ.

A HUGE thank you to Rio Tinto for the fabulous feast! It was such an honour and a joy to help dish up the goods for the fine folks of the Southside.
