Like I said. Rain stopped at 5pm and we haven’t had rain since. We enjoyed chocolate bar bingo, b**r bingo and now evening fires. Thank you to everyone that came out regardless of the weather forecast 🙂

Who dictates your holidays and what you do with them? For me it’s not the weather man, here’s why….

Monday: forecast for this weekend is flashlooding, approximately 30-40mm of rain.

Me: hmmm, ok.

Tuesday: forecast for this weekend is heavy rain Friday and Saturday, approximately 20mm

Me: oh! Ok, well that’s different.

Wednesday: forecast for this weekend is now Thursday and Friday flash flooding, approximately 30mm

Me: Uh huh.

Thursday: forecast for this weekend is now 70% heavy rain all weekend

Me: thanks for the update.

Friday: forecast for this weekend is scattered showers Friday, mostly overnight, Saturday heavy rain 60%

Me: ok.

Actual outcome: scattered showers here and there, mostly at night, sunshine, good times and not near as dramatic as that guy said it was gunna be!

We look forward to welcoming you for the last long weekend before the winter schedules set in. It’s going to be great, with a little rain or not.
