This Labour Day Weekend at the Loon's Call... it's Hallowe'en Weekend!

Saturday there will be a scavenger hunt and craft for the kids in the morning, trick-or-treating & kid's costume contest in the evening, and a haunted walk at night. Family bingo Sunday night. Get in the spirit and decorate your site and bring some candy for the kids.

Our Annual Corn Roast weekend with live music featuring the musical talents of Big Black Smoke ( www.bigblacksmoke.net ). Music and corn roast starts at 8 pm Saturday night.

I think we all knew this was coming... the Township of North Frontenac announced a total fire ban effective this morning. It will take several days of steady rain here before we can expect this to be lifted.

During a fire ban, no campfires or fireworks are allowed... but you may use a propane fireplace if you have one.

Unfortunate, but still lots of other fun things to do!
