At 43 Shipwreck you'll enjoy our recently renovated and open concept 2 bedroom cottage with water views (queen master, and single over RV queen bunk, with a queen pull out in the living room) located in the heart of Sun Retreats Sherkston Shores park. It's a great central location, nice and close to everything! We have a spacious 12’x17’ add-a-room with vaulted ceiling and large, comfy couch, 2 sp
lit heating/cooling units, tankless hot water, new windows, 2 tvs with Firesticks and all-you-could-want Apollo streaming service, private Wifi, and a 4 piece bath (including tub for getting all the sand off those kids!). There's a full kitchen with oven/stove, microwave, fridge, Keurig, drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, serving/storage dishes, plates, cups, mugs, glasses, utensils, and a second fridge/freezer (in the add-a-room) for overflow. Outside, you'll find a Napoleon BBQ (propane) on the large deck where you can enjoy the water views with ample seating including outside dining area, a fire table (propane) for those cooler evenings, and a wood burning firepit on the lawn (*wood available for purchase at general store on site or from the firewood guy*). Our unit is professionally cleaned between renters. Check ins are at 4pm, with check out at 12pm. Rentals are offered M-F, F-M, or full weeks starting either Mondays or Fridays between June and September, and rentals include use of our lifted golf cart (with new lithium batteries in 2026!). Sorry, no smoking permitted inside or outside at our unit! About the Resort:
Sun Retreats Sherkston Shores boasts 4kms (2.5 miles) of sandy beaches and amazing sunsets along the north east coast of Lake Erie. Between the quarry, 3 heated pools (*note one is for owners only), the splashpad, water slides and hot tub, everyone can find somewhere to cool off (or warm up)! There are paddleboards, kayaks, canoes and peddle boats available to rent at the quarry, as well as tennis/basketball/pickleball courts, multiple playgrounds, an 18 hole mini putt course, and the skate park at your disposal. Enjoy meals at the Getaway Bar&Grill, Sherkston Café, or food truck central when you just don't feel like cooking. There are coin operated laundry facilities, and a deceivingly well supplied general store on site, including LCBO/Beer Store. If all that isn't enough to keep you busy, the arcade is open daily, not to mention a ton of planned activities for both kids and adults, including live bands on site and fireworks over the quarry most weekends!
