There’s a big difference between a camp owner who passes on stories they heard, and one who was actually out on the water yesterday.
I’m unique among camp operators. I,m on Nungesser Lake constantly. When we sit down at the kitchen table to go over the map—whether you’re a brand-new guest or you’ve been coming up here for years—the spots, patterns, and techniques I share are from first-hand, recent knowledge. I don't give you hearsay; I give you what I’ve actually seen and done out there myself.
With 54 years of guiding experience and over 400 lakes fished across Canada, I’ve dedicated my life to the bush and the water as a professional outdoorsman. I’ve passed that depth of knowledge down to Hayden, and together, we make sure our guests have every advantage possible.
We don't just talk about where the fish are biting, though. We talk about:
* Real-time techniques and patterns to maximize your success rates.
* The crucial stuff: avoiding the reefs ("Don't hit the rocks!").
* Safety and staying connected: keeping the marine radios active so little problems get solved instantly, and always communicating travel plans—especially if you're a lone boat out there.

Around here, a "slow day" is 30 walleye. Most days, guests catch closer to a hundred. When I’m personally guiding, we regularly have days with 200+ walleye on the line.
