⛹️ 🏀 ⛹️‍♀️ St. Stephen is abuzz this weekend as the New Brunswick town hosts The Archie Weekend, an annual fundraiser for the project to restore the world's oldest indoor basketball court and turn it into an international tourist attraction. The weekend lineup includes a celebrity golf tournament, an evening of great food and live entertainment, tours of the world’s oldest indoor basketball court, and a youth basketball tournament. Also this year, Canada Basketball brings its Hall of Fame induction ceremony to St. Stephen.

A genuine refuge — especially if you're travelling with a dog
We were on a road trip back from Nova Scotia to Ontario and took the Digby-Saint John ferry to spend a few days around Saint Andrews.
Lori's place turned out to be the real highlight of the stop — a quiet, clean, well-considered retreat that let us properly decompress.
The location is ideal: five minutes to downtown St.
Stephen, and five minutes to a municipal dog park with wilderness trails, which Roxie appreciated as much as I did. Lori has clearly thought through what makes a stay easy rather than just adequate — down to the frosty mugs and glasses waiting in the freezer, which tells you everything about the level of care here.
If you want peace, space, and a host who's
anticipated your needs before you've named them, this is it. Highly
recommended.
