Love me an engagement session that is equal parts dreamy, romantic and 𝘧𝘶𝘯.

Engagement sessions are my favourite type of session of all time. You just get to show up, play, connect and laugh - I’ll do the rest 🤍

Not many spots remain for 2026 sessions and my calendar for 2027 weddings is booking up too 🗓️

Let’s start the conversation early and please don’t wait too long to lock in your date. It breaks my heart when I have to say I’m already booked on your date, and it happens far too often 😩

One of the things I hear most often from couples is:

“We’re awkward in front of the camera.”

The truth is, most people aren’t comfortable being posed for long periods of time. That’s why I always include movement and prompts like this throughout my sessions.

It helps you focus on each other instead of the camera, creating photos that feel natural, connected and genuinely you.

This one’s called the cinnamon roll and it’s always a favourite.

Beyondddd excited to share this stunning greenhouse wedding in Nanaimo! 🤍

This is officially part ☝️ and part ✌️ is also full of so much goodness (think stunning sunset and dance party!)

It was such an honour to be part of D + J’s wedding at their family farm. I often travel all over the island and gulf islands to capture celebrations but I always find it so special when I get to capture one so close to home 🫶

This day was so thoughtfully designed and SO much love was put into creating the vision that it was. The weather this day was absolutely wild but didn’t stop this couple from creating the best memories.

We had a blast exploring the all the views via golf cart and spending time in the greenhouse taking advantage of the florals and constant beauty that was everywhere.

Such a special day, such a special couple 🥰

There truly is something about choosing the mountains as the place your wedding day backdrop.

It’s adventure calling, inviting, daring and awe-inspiring.

Yessss that’s right! I have a tiny sidekick with me this wedding season 👶

Baby James number 3 is on the way due late fall! 🥰

Everything for this season is continuing as normal (except for my new, very comfy shoes and extra snacks at every wedding 😆) and all of my couples know already- but I thought it was time to share with the Instagram world!

Fun fact: this is my second time doing wedding season pregnant! It’s nothing new to me 🤗

I’ll be on maternity leave from October 10th to February 28th back for spring & summer weddings, elopements and sessions next year!

Instead of doing chores and debating what activity will keep everyone happy before bed- we escaped for the sun, sea, sandy toes and ocean air.

We searched for sea glass, threw walks in the water, walked on logs and explored.

Kids got to bed a little late and a few dishes sit in the sink but does it really matter? These are the days we never get back.

I know it’s all worth it when I say “should we go to the beach?” after dinner and their faces light up.

Just a reminder, you have free will and you can actually do whatever you please with your time 🤍

There’s something incredibly special about couples who feel most at home outdoors 🤍

The mountains, wildlife, and quiet of the forest. None of it felt separate from the day. It felt like part of their story.

A wedding at Mount Washington surrounded by snow capped peaks and the people they love most felt like the perfect reflection of who they are together: grounded, adventurous, and deeply connected.

These are the kinds of wedding days I’m endlessly inspired by. Thoughtful celebrations surrounded by nature and shaped by the people at the centre of them. It was a total honour and an immense pleasure to be there for this super sweet couples special day.

I can’t begin to describe how special it is to be part of so many amazing couples full circle moments 🥹

From engagements to weddings, newborn, maternity and eventually family photos. To be the preserver of your biggest celebrations and your best memories is an indescribable honour and privilege.

Not to mention… how sweet is this little darling? One of the most precious little sleepy bundles ❤️

This session was such a pleasure and full of the best moments. There is nothing like your first weeks at home with a new baby 🫶
