The Peony Festival is this weekend and we will be on site for the first time ever! Thank you to the for the invite to this awesome festival held at the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens at 55 Arena Street in Oshawa.

The event runs 10am - 4pm both Saturday and Sunday.

Experience the allure of Oshawa at the award-winning Peony Festival, a captivating free two-day event.

Immerse yourself in the splendour of the Oshawa Valley Botanical Garden and The Michael and Judi Denny Peony Garden with over 300 curated peonies.

And while you're there visiting is, please also check out a variety of other handmade artisan merchandise vendors, children's activities, community displays, delicious food, live music as well as the prestigious judged peony show and competition featuring breathtaking blooms in the arena.

We are back in Ajax for another exciting year at the awesome !

Starting this Thursday and running until October 8th, you can find us in our usual spot and shacked up with where Hiro will be selling her fantastic organic sourdough breads, English muffins and focaccia, including the ever popular Miso Garlic focaccia!

The market runs from 2pm until 7pm every Thursday. Come on down and help support the local small businesses!

Behold, the Hallowed Satay, Batch 19 edition.

If you haven't tried this collaboration sauce from and , you are missing out..

Loaded with peanuts, red Thai curry and Hallows Eve peppers, we round out the traditional recipe with, lemongrass, and Szechuan peppercorn to produce a flavour profile unlike any other Thai peanut sauce.

So good, it is a double gold award winner at the and hot sauce expos...so far 😉

Definitely must try.

If you’ve visited any markets around the Durham Region, chances are you’ve come across Viky’s booth and been pulled in by the incredible aromas of her hearty, flavour-packed soups.

We’ve been fans of her soups for years, so being asked to create a signature sauce for her truly means the world to us.

Now available at all of Viky’s markets: our pineapple, jalapeño, and tequila hot sauce — specially scaled down to a 1/5 heat level. (See? We can do mild 😜). It pairs perfectly with so many of her amazing creations.

If you see Viky and her husband Harry at the market, be sure to stop by for a sample — and maybe add a bottle or two to your order while you’re there!

Welcome to Pesto Town! Population you!

After sitting on this recipe for a few years, which stemmed from my wife Hiromi's stellar homemade vegan pesto, we have finally created our own hot sauce version, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Released today, this is our take on a pesto style sandwich sauce, loading it up with basil and garlic, yellow 7 pot borg peppers to create a nice medium heat level, and of course emulsifying it with organic olive oil to deliver that creamy texture any great pesto sauce needs.

And it's vegan! We are replacing Parmesan cheese with nutritional yeast, and have added in surprises along the way by adding in broccoli, and substituting pine nuts for walnuts.

In the end, the flavour profile is outstanding, and everything you would expect from a pesto sauce.

Now available online, in store and at all in person markets we are in.
