Searching up history of our local area is quite interesting! I will be posting little stories I find along the way but for now enjoy these Rose series images of Gembrook as well as some other postcards. Thank you to the state library for the images ranging between the 1900's and 1920's for the landscape and railways and The Ranges Hotel being from the 1950's.

Today I set off (in the rain) to meet with Amanda from A&B farm fresh flowers 💐 to see what she has to offer this Mothers day and I was blown away with the selection so had to purchase quite a few 🤭Amanda is busy making bunch after bunches of flowers ranging from $10 to $60. This means every budget is catered for. I love that a child could raid their money box and still buy beautiful flowers. 🥰 So if you are in the Gembrook/ Cockatoo area this weekend make sure you give this farm gate shop a look at. You won't regret it! There is also seedlings there from another small business if you are looking to refresh your veggie patch. 🥰 Buying local when staying at The Ranges Inn is always a great way to support the local economy and helping small businesses one sale at a time.
