Don’t go to an amusement park without this checklist (thank me later)

We’ve visited 20+ amusement parks across the USA, China, and multiple European countries, and these are the things we never forget when planning a park day.

• 🎟️ Book tickets in advance to skip stress and long entry queues
• 📲 Download the park app before you go — plan your must-do rides and route in advance (it’s easy to get overwhelmed once you’re there)
• 📱 Phone fully charged + power bank — you’ll constantly check maps, wait times, show schedules, and take photos and videos, so your battery drains fast
• 💳 Card + some cash for lockers, food, and small extras
• 🧢 Sun protection — hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
• 💧 Reusable water bottle
• 👟 Comfortable shoes — you’ll walk more than you think
• 🧥 Light jacket + waterproof poncho for changing weather and water rides
• 🎒 Small backpack
• 🧒 Extra clothes for kids — especially if water attractions are on the agenda
• 🍫 Snacks for kids to avoid energy crashes between rides
• 🎢 Check height requirements in advance to avoid disappointment at ride entrances
• ⏰ Arrive early — the first hours usually have the shortest queues

💡 Don’t try to do everything — pick your must-do attractions before you arrive. Once you’re inside, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and waste time deciding where to go next.
