Mixed media mosaic combine 2+ materials on one sheet — glass + metal + stone together. Popular for hotel and luxury villa projects. But not every factory can do it right:

• Different expansion rate — indoor fine, outdoor risk crack
• Color matching across different material type is hard

Three metal mosaic types:

🟤 Copper — warm rich color, great for lobby and restaurant wall. Copper naturally oxidize over time — we spray clear coating, but patina will develop. Some customer actually want this effect.

⚪ Stainless steel — clean modern look. 304 grade standard, 316 for seaside project. Options: brushed, mirror, or PVD color.

🔘 Aluminum alloy — light weight. Comes with protective film — dont peel until installation.

⚠️ Warning: metal get hot in direct sun. Use glass or ceramic for outdoor instead.

Last week a Philippines customer sent a video. Glass mosaic on shower wall — 3 months later, pieces falling off. Not product defect — installation problem.

3 common mistake I see:
(1) Wall not flat enough — mosaic show every bump.
(2) Wrong adhesive — for glass you need white thin-set. Gray show through and change the color.
(3) No back-buttering — most installer just press the sheet on. This trap air. Put thin layer on the mesh too.

We include a one-page guide with every shipment. Even the best tile can fail if install wrong.

🪨 Natural stone — marble, travertine, granite, quartzite. No two sheet look the same — that's the beauty. Heavier, need stronger adhesive.

We use same stone block for your order so color shift is minimal. Layout photo before shipping for your approval.

For outdoor: granite or quartzite only. Marble and travertine not frost-resistant.

Two type of glass mosaic we supply. Both are different:

🔷 Crystal glass — 1400°C firing, color goes all the way through. Scratch the back and the color still there. Waterproof, no fade. Good for pool, shower, kitchen.

🔥 Hot-melt glass — second melting create gradient color effect. Edges not perfect straight — that's normal. Good for feature wall, decorative area.

Our QC test every batch. 24-hour water immersion test — mesh don't peel, batch pass. Simple.
