Looking for a different side of Tenerife? 🌿☁️

Not everyone comes to Tenerife for beaches, sunshine and busy resorts.

Some of us come for the mountains, green landscapes, hiking trails, little villages and peaceful mornings surrounded by nature.

That's exactly the kind of Tenerife you'll find at Casa in the Clouds.

We're a small, family-run accommodation in Genovés, Tenerife North, around 500 metres above sea level, with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Teide.

🏡 5 independent apartments, accommodating up to 13 guests in total.

🌿 Surrounded by greenery, mountains and real, living nature.

🥾 A peaceful base for exploring Tenerife's hiking trails, forests and beautiful northern villages. We even provide hiking poles for our guests.

☁️ Cooler mountain air, changing skies and sometimes clouds drifting right past our doorstep.

🌊 A shared terrace with ocean views, a BBQ area and space to slow down.

A little note before you visit:

We're not a hotel or a typical holiday resort. Nature is part of everyday life here — including insects, occasional spiderwebs, mountain humidity and changing weather.

The road leading up to Casa is also steep and narrow in places, so we recommend a smaller car.

If you're looking for a luxury resort experience, we might not be the right fit.

But if you love nature, quiet places, exploring the island and staying somewhere with a little more character, you might feel right at home here. 🤍

Casa in the Clouds isn’t a hotel. And we don’t want it to be.

We’re tucked away in the hills of Tenerife North, surrounded by greenery, fresh mountain air and the sounds of nature.

Here, mornings can be misty, the clouds sometimes roll in, and nature is always close.

You won’t find a busy resort, room service or perfectly manicured hotel gardens.

Instead, you’ll find peaceful mornings, ocean views, winding mountain roads and a slower way of experiencing Tenerife.

If you love nature, quiet places and a little adventure, you might feel right at home here. 🤍

And if you prefer a traditional hotel experience, that’s absolutely fine too.

Casa in the Clouds is made for slower days, surrounded by nature and away from the busy resorts of Tenerife.

Yes, Casa in the Clouds really is in the clouds. ☁️

Getting here means leaving the busy roads behind and heading a little higher into the hills of Tenerife North.

The last part of the drive is steep and narrow in places — something we always like our guests to know before arriving. A smaller car definitely makes it easier. 🚗

But once you arrive, you understand why we’re here: peaceful surroundings, mountain air and the Atlantic stretching out in front of you. 🌊
