A beautiful room is easy to recognise but creating one requires an elusive talent. Good taste is essential, obviously, but so too is an instinct for proportion, colour and texture. Style can probably be taught, but taste is innate, as is the confidence to put together an unlikely combination and somehow know it will work. Peter Fieret, founder of casabedouin an interior design service and décor store in Cala Carbó, has spent his working life experimenting with seemingly disparate styles and finding innovative and stunning ways to bring them together.

When White Ibiza's creative director first met entrepreneur, Ben Hartmann, a few years ago, she was intrigued to discover the founder of Ibiza’s most stylish gym was a born and bred island local. Many conversations later, the story just kept getting more and more interesting, so instead of keeping it all to herself, she asked Ben to share his journey with us for the latest edition of our print magazine.

In between climbing up a mountain with photographer to get the perfect sparkle off the sea in the background, Ben very kindly spoke to us for hours about growing up in Ibiza, his family history (his father, Ben Senior, and his grandfather – another Ben – also owned gyms before him) and the career trajectory that took him through the worlds of real estate and finance before a serendipitous fire led him to the world of health and wellbeing, which in turn led him to create the hugely successful wellness ecosystem that is today Ben’s Ibiza.
