Steffi Hofman and I met someone famous today!!!

Today, during our ride through Haría, Steffi and I stopped at the statue of the famous barber El Mudo.

A few minutes later, something unexpected happened…

We met the man himself!!!

At 94 years old, Ladislao Rodríguez Bonilla is still a beloved figure in Haría. Seeing the statue was special, but meeting him in person, sitting in his doorway and welcoming us with a smile, was something else entirely.

These are the moments that make Lanzarote so unique. Not just the landscapes, but the people and the stories behind them.

A true legend of Haría. What an honour. 🙏
