On 12 August 2026, Ibiza will experience a total solar eclipse. From Can Lluc, we will have a privileged view: totality will begin right in front of us, and the sun will slowly disappear behind the mountain.
The 29th and 30th of April, considered astronomically “twin” days to that date, allowed us to test the view from the hotel. And we can say it with confidence: it will be spectacular.

The last eclipse of this kind took place in 1905. Back then, Lucas’s grandfather was just 8 years old and very likely looked up at that same sky from this very setting. More than a century later, we will look up again from the same place, surrounded by nature, silence and calm.
It will not be just an astronomical phenomenon. It will be a way to connect with time, nature and history.
