Built in 1313 by Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, it has witnessed centuries of storms, changing tides and countless sunrises over one of England’s most spectacular coastal landscapes.

Reaching the castle is part of the experience too, with no direct road access. Whether you walk from Craster or Embleton, you’re rewarded with one of Northumberland’s most iconic views 🌊
