🍂WE'RE TOO KEEN to wait until winter to get our art sessions started again..so here we are!

🍁Kicking things off with a couple of cute Autumnal craft nights at Arisaig Hotel.

🎨You can join for both evenings, or the first one only.

👻Night 1: We'll use air dry clay to make wee ghost tea light holders (these will be for battery operated lights) and we will also make air dry clay pendants to create an Autumn/Halloween garland.

🌙Night 2: Return to paint, decorate and construct our lovely projects. If you would rather do this yourself at home, that is absolutely OK!

📱Please get in touch with me (Fern) to book your place, send a message

😋The pub will still be serving dinner, so if you're wanting to make a full night of it, come in earlier for a meal beforehand

🧠🍻QUIZ NIGHT🍻🧠

Get your teams together and come along for a bit of healthy competition.

Euan is stepping out of his chef duties and into the quizmaster chair, joined by Hollie — also on quiz duty so expect lots of laughs and probably a bit of mischief.

Make a night of it!
Dinner is from 5:30pm - 8pm and we've reserved some tables especially for quiz goers at 8pm. Let us know if you'd like your table for a meal beforehand also!

Get in touch to reserve your quiz table by email or phoning ⬇️

🎣 GOOD LUCK MAX 🐟

Good luck to our Max at his fishing competition today! We’re all rooting for you!

Did you know that you could enjoy fishing on nearby Loch Morar too? 🎣 With a fishing permit, anglers can fish from the bank.

Loch Morar is extra special – it’s the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, reaching depths of over 310 metres! 😮 It’s also home to wild brown trout, salmon, sea trout and the impressive ferox trout. And, of course, there’s always the legendary Morag... Loch Morar’s very own mysterious monster! 👀

🎣 Fishing season: 15th March – 6th October
📜 A permit is required and permits are available locally.
🐟 Be sure to read up on the up to date rules.

Loch Morar offers a brilliant day out for experienced anglers and beginners alike – and it’s only a short drive from the Arisaig Hotel! 💙

Find out more about fishing permits and Loch Morar fishing at Lochmorar.org.uk

Go Max! We hope you catch a whopper🎣🐟🍀

🎄SAVE THE DATE✨️

Okay guys, we know it's only September..but hear us out!

We're already getting enquiries about our Christmas Fayre, and we're so excited we had to start talking about it.

🚜Due to popular demand, and how brilliant it went last year the Tractor Run will be returning ❄️As will the kids snow disco to keep the kids entertained on the deck area
🎶And live music in the bar this year!

Get in touch with any enquiries 🎅

🪶MIGRATION NAVIGATION (gone wrong)🪶

It's that time of year again folks – an annual heads up, to keep an eye out for our special little pals who might get a bit lost.

🪶 Every September thousands of baby Manx Shearwaters leave the island of Rum.
🪶 New to flying, they often get blown towards Arisaig & Mallaig and become disorientated by the lights.
🪶 Due to their long wings and the position of their legs, Shearwaters are unable to take off from urban areas.
🪶 If you find a Manxie, try and keep it safe until Martin or Steve can collect it from you.
🪶 They are then released from the ferry halfway between Mallaig and Skye where they begin their 6500 mile migration to Brazil & Argentina.

🍂COSY HIGHLAND ESCAPE🍁

We're not wishing the last of summer away… but we do want to let you in on one of our best-kept secrets — Autumn in Arisaig🍂

Think empty beaches, quieter roads, golden landscapes, crisp coastal walks and cosy evenings with a delicous dinner beside the fire.

It’s a little slower, a little wilder, and every bit as beautiful.

This little video gives us all the cosy Autumn/Winter feels☕️

💪EVER WONDERED WHY OUR TEAM ARE SO FIT?👀

It's not a secret gym on site...it's the 17 mile walk between our kitchen and the bar! 😅
On a busy evening, some of our waiting staff clock up to 10,000 + steps just keeping everyone fed and watered. That's a full day's worth of exercise in one shift!
