Happy 21st Birthday Jodie! 🎉

Jodie has come such a long way over the last couple of years, growing in confidence and experience and working her way up to be the fantastic two year old room supervisor that she is. It’s lovely to see how much she has developed!

She knows our 2s and their routines inside out, builds lovely relationships with the children and their parents, and is always organised and on top of everything. She’s also incredibly creative and always does a brilliant job with her display boards in the discovery den and window displays! 🎨✨ And of course, we can’t forget she’s our very own cleaning queen, with her love for a bit of Cif! 🧽😂

Jodie is a brilliant practitioner and a valued member of our team, and we’re very lucky to have her as part of our Happy Hares family 💙

Happy Birthday Faith! 🎉

Faith is a strong part of our Happy Hares team and a particularly great practitioner in the Discovery Den with our two year olds!

She works very hard, especially as she continues to study towards her level 3 qualification, is fantastic with her key children and knows all of their routines inside out. Faith is brilliant at building lovely relationships with all the children and their families and is such a kind and caring role model🌸

We’ve been embracing all things autumn at Happy Hares! 🍂✨

Our little ones have enjoyed lots of fun, engaging activities and creative crafts, from autumn painting, conker rolling and making beautiful leaf pictures to getting stuck into some gardening🌿🎨

There have been plenty of opportunities to explore the colours, textures and changes we see around us during this wonderful season, while encouraging creativity, curiosity and learning through play. We have a great garden space to watch all these changes happen and we enjoy it very much too! 🧡

From messy hands to proud little faces, it’s been a time full of fun, exploring and growing together! 🍂🐰✨

Happy Birthday Ruby! 🎉

Ruby is one of our hard-working level 3 apprentices and has become such a key part in our two year old room. She is kind, caring and brilliant with all the children, Ruby knows all of their routines and is always happy to get stuck in with whatever is needed!

Ruby is calm and patient whilst also bringing plenty of laughter to our setting. Ruby is working hard to develop her confidence and skills everyday. Thank you so much for everything you do! 🌸

🐞🦋Mini Beast Week! 🐛🌸

Last week we had a wonderful time exploring and learning about the fascinating world of mini beasts!

Our little hares got creative with some lovely butterfly and ladybird pictures. As well as the rest of the nursery getting their creative head on, exploring lots of mini beast themed tuff trays along with lots of books and other interesting activities.
Our Big Hares put their explorer hats on and headed on a mini beast hunt. They had fun searching high and low to see what tiny creatures they could discover 🐛🐜🐌

It was a fantastic week full of exploring, creating and discovering! Well done little explorers- you’ve been busy bees! 🐝

🎉 Happy Birthday Megan! 🎉

Megan has been part of the Happy Hares family for quite some time, first joining us as a student and now recently qualifying as a practitioner and becoming lunch cover and bank staff! It’s been so lovely to watch her confidence grow and see her blossom into the brilliant practitioner that she is! ✨

Megan is kind, caring and incredibly patient, she has such a lovely way with the children and is particularly good at welcoming and supporting the SEND children and new starters, as they settle into nursery life. Although, Megan can be shy, we’ve loved watching her come out of her shell and grow in confidence- and we know there’s no much more to come. Thank you so much for all your hard work!🌸

Today we’re also wishing a very happy birthday to our small but mighty Kaley! 💕🐰

Kaley is incredibly well organised, knows the nursery routines inside and out, and is absolutely brilliant within our baby room. She has also stepped into her role as Deputy Manager amazingly well, taking on the extra responsibilities with confidence and becoming a fantastic support to the whole team. 🌟

We’re so lucky to have Kaley as such a valued member of the Happy Hares team and really appreciate everything she brings to the nursery each day. 💗

Louise is quite simply the person who keeps so much of Happy Hares going. She works incredibly hard, always goes above and beyond and is there for absolutely everything — from the day-to-day running of the nursery to supporting the children, staff and our families. Her dedication and commitment to Happy Hares never goes unnoticed. 🌟

She’s also full of great ideas, always thinking of new ways to make things better, and brings so much fun and laughter to our days along the way! 💗

We’re so lucky to have Louise at the heart of our Happy Hares family and are incredibly grateful for everything she does!

🍂 Hello September! 🍂

A new month means new adventures, new experiences and plenty of opportunities to hop, play & grow! 🐇🌱

Autumn is on its way- we’re looking forward to autumn days exploring the changing seasons and watching our little ones continue to learn and flourish. So it’s almost time to dig out those wellies, cosy jumpers and waterproofs- we’re ready for muddy puddles, more outdoor adventures and all the fun that comes with autumn 🍁🌧️

September is always a special time for us as we continue to welcome lots of new children and families into our Happy Hares Family. We know that starting nursery is a big step, filled with lots of emotions for both children and parents/carers, and we’re looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you, helping everyone to feel safe, settled and happy ☺️

A massive Happy Hares welcome to all our new starters! We’re so excited to begin this journey with you and can’t wait to see all the wonderful memories we’ll make together! 🐇💙

Forest School & Park Adventures 🌳🛝

On Friday, we had a fantastic forest school session where Trina cooked our whole lunch on the fire, the children absolutely loved watching their meal being prepared outdoors!

Hot dogs, Chips & Corn on the cob were on the menu and everyone sat so well together enjoying a real forest school lunch experience 🌭🍟

Our 2-year-olds have recently enjoyed a trip to the park for a picnic and play. They all sat together so nicely for their snack before making the most of their play time. The children were busy climbing, balancing, exploring, taking appropriate risks, building their confidence and developing their gross motor skills along the way☀️🛝

There were lots of fresh air, independence and happy little faces! 🥰
