You know how it goes. You save up for a holiday, count down the days, and come home already dreaming about the next one. 🌴

For a long time, that's how I saw travel: something I loved and worked toward, fit in around my schedule and everyday responsibilities.

Then I discovered the other side of the travel industry. The business side. And it opened doors I never expected.

Here's what I learned:

✈️ Travel advisors can earn commissions. Hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and tour companies may pay advisors for eligible client bookings.

🌎 Planning travel can be more than a hobby. Researching destinations, comparing resorts, and matching people with the perfect getaway is the job.

💻 You can learn as you go. Supplier training, destination education, and online resources help you build your knowledge without constant travel.

🤝 You don't have to do it alone. A host agency can provide booking systems, supplier connections, and training to help you get started.

For me, it was never about leaving my NHS Career or overnight change. It was about turning something I genuinely love into another potential source of income.

Building a travel business takes time and effort, but it gives you another path to explore for your future.
