Having just flown on the new Cardiff to Toronto route with WestJet, I was thrilled! Not just for the convenience but for the opportunity to explore a new destination. Upon arrival, I immediately felt the vibrant energy of Torontos busy city and made sure to take in all it had to offer. Such as, CN Tower, St Lawrence Market and Toronto Islands etc.

Getting to Niagara Falls was easy and affordable from Union bus station. A 2 hour drive from Toronto brought me to my second destination where I stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. This hotel was amazing for location and offered breathtaking views from our room! The surrounding area is perfect for a leisurely stroll with public transportation available. Making sure to take a boat tour of the falls and even a zip line, which was the highlight of the trip!

Not far from the falls is a small town called Niagara-on-the-Lake, which feels like youโ€™re stepping back in time with horse and carts, quaint streets and boutique shops.

Overall the new flight route opens up a world of experiences right on our doorstep, from the dynamic city life of Toronto to the natural wonders of Niagara Falls. I loved every minute of this adventure.
