“Absolutely buzzing” was one vendors reaction yesterday, and that pretty much sums up Cockermouth auction mart at the moment , the Fellmans gather was the biggest and best it’s ever been this year with 8000 lambs packing the market out nearly twice over! Numbers were no issue as the trade really had to be witnessed to be appreciated, from hill lambs to the very best continentals, buyers flocked round the ring exuding confidence in the sheep sector which resulted in a record trade”
