A freshen-up across the living room, kitchen and bedroom, with some lovely colours throughout.

Living Room
Walls finished in Johnstone’s Trade Acrylic Durable Matt – Whiskers.

Kitchen
Walls finished in Johnstone’s Trade Acrylic Durable Matt – Winter’s End, with Elephants Parade on the feature wall.

Bedroom
Walls finished in Johnstone’s Trade Acrylic Durable Matt – China Clay.

Ceilings
Finished in Tikkurila Anti-Reflex 2 White Matt, with Zinsser Perma-White used in the bathroom and ensuite.

Woodwork
All finished in Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Satin.

Back in Backworth for another job for one of our long-standing customers!

A freshen-up with some lovely colours and feature panelling to finish it off.

Here’s what we used:

Ceiling: Tikkurila Anti-Reflex 2 White Matt Emulsion.

Feature MDF panelling: Primed with Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Plus, then finished in Dulux Heritage Velvet – Nutmeg White (I think 🫣). De-nibbed between coats for a smooth finish.

Alcoves: Laura Ashley Home – Soft Truffle.

Remaining walls: Dulux Heritage Velvet – Nutmeg White.

New door: Sealed with Osmo Door Oil Raw.

Remaining woodwork: Finished in Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Satin.

Another one completed for a happy repeat customer!

Cracks repaired and the finished rooms looking fresh again! 👌

Following on from our last reel showing the cracks being raked out, here are some photos of the finished job.

All cracks were raked out, sealed with Zinsser Gardz, reinforced with InvisiScrim and repaired using Toupret filler before decorating.

The finishing touches included:
Ceilings: Tikkurila Anti-Reflex 2 White Matt Emulsion
Sun Room walls: Johnstone’s Trade Acrylic Durable Matt – Malted Mint Kitchen walls: Johnstone’s Trade Acrylic Durable Matt – Summer Sunset
Woodwork: Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Satin

A lot of the hard work goes into the preparation before the paint even comes out, especially when dealing with cracks. Getting those repairs done properly makes all the difference to the finished result.

Living room completed for one of our local customers! 👌

The media wall has had some extra attention, with each section caulked and all joins filled using Toupret Wood Filler.
All walls were sanded using our dustless sanding setup to get everything ready for a fresh finish.
