​This hidden chalet, with its own decks and garden has complete seclusion and privacy whilst being only minutes from the picturesque village of Croyde & 20 minutes walk from the stunning, sandy, surfing beach. We are a local, family run property who have been welcoming guests to The Chalet for many years. We aim to make the most of our special location to provide a unique, personal experience that is close to nature and with a relaxed seaside feel. The Exmoor Dark Skies Festival returns from 16 October to 1 November, celebrating its 10th edition with a programme packed with stargazing, night walks, astrophotography and some rather more unusual adventures. ✨

Highlights include UV rock pooling, bioluminescence walks, moonlit pool dips and e bike night rides, alongside planetarium experiences and talks from space scientists and explorers.
