Look at this super photo that was dropped in yesterday showing the first mains water supply to Poundsgate. Do you recognise the building it’s outside of?……

Maybe you know the people in the photo and have stories to tell.

Tomorrow evening we have David Phillips telling tales about the pub and local area. He’s open to customers sharing their stories too so bring your best tales to tell us.

Food is served earlier tomorrow
5pm -7pm, so we are clear to concentrate on the stories with less interruption. Tables are filling fast so we recommend booking if you’d like to eat.

Storytelling starts at 730pm.

Fancy dress is encouraged but not essential. There will be a prize for the best one. Judged by David so no good bribing the staff 😂

We only have 2 more weeks at our current yard and things are feeling pretty desperate. Hugo needs to find grazing livery within a 30 minute drive of Newton Abbot. Thank you to all who have made suggestions on our earlier post but he needs 24/7 turnout (herd) as he suffers from locking stifles and unfortunately the only suitable yards, that had space, have been either too far or full livery which is beyond our budget. He's a 16.2 gelding and has a beautiful calm temperament. Use of a stable/arena would be a bonus but currently just a good field, with shelter and friends is all we need.

You'll lead the delivery of our educational programmes, develop new curriculum-linked activities, work with schools and youth groups, and help us grow our reach - all from one of the most beautiful working farms on Dartmoor.

💷 £35,000 per annum
⏰ Full time, 37 hours per week (some weekend and evening work)
