Rachel is a few weeks short of her 22nd birthday. The same age I was when I got married in 1998.

My Mum had the dress professionally laundered back then and it has been in their loft unopened for 28 years.

I wish she had been here to see this. She died 13 years ago from ovarian cancer at 62.

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, and her birthday. I took tulips to her grave. I could see Dad had been there before me. He looks after her grave usually visiting after church each week. He loved her so well, ever since they met as teenagers.

I wanted to save this here for the memory ❤️

The message at the end was sent to me yesterday from one of her best friends.
