There is one double bedroom downstairs and a twin attic room (with 2 single kids beds). The cottage was fully updated and upgraded in 2022 and has operated as a successful and well-reviewed family run holiday let since then, achieving a Customers Choice status award. The cottage is situated above Chapel Stile, one of the most attractive villages in the Lake District, amid the incredible beauty of the Langdale Valley. It has a shared communal garden, although this is not fully fenced so children and dogs need to be supervised. Car parking available at the top of a very steep drive. May not be suitable for persons of limited mobility.

Autumn and Winter is quieter and mists and frost can make it even more magical.

If it rains you can test out your waterproofs and Ambleside is just 15 minutes by car if you find you need to upgrade your kit.
