Let’s say the weather was not the best but the beach looks good whatever the weather. 20mins from the cottage Old Hunstanton beach and it never fails. The old town beach cafe is a must for coffee and cake. First time we have walked to the right and the amount of beach huts hidden in the dunes what a lovely surprise! Yes ofcourse I went straight on rightmove 🤣😍

We’ve nearly had a whole week at our perfect little getaway. If there is one thing I’m reminded, how close to all the best of Norfolk coast we are. Fakenham has so much to offer and just the fact it’s central to all the best seaside towns. We are having a great time re exploring.

The weather is not stopping us!! The Thornham boardwalk is a great walk. Lots of great shops and eateries in Thornham too so can make a good afternoon of it. 20min drive from The Cottage

Even when the skies are full of clouds the sun setting at Wells next the sea is a magical experience. Just the emptiness, the changing light and ofcourse the beach huts in all their glory. A 15min drive from the cottage it really is perfect morning noon and night.

You really are never stuck for something to do when in Norfolk. The pebble beach and windmill at Cley next the sea makes for a perfect scenic stroll. Only 20mins in the car from the cottage. Then a few mins onto Wiveton hall for breakfast or lunch with great views of the salt marshes.
We have some summer availability at our beautiful cottage.
