Who’s your favourite Highwayman? 👀 We asked the cast & writer, John Godber 👉

From the infamous Dick Turpin, to Yorkshire’s own John Nevison, the legendary Katherine Ferrers and the flamboyant John Rann, the characters in The Highwayman take inspiration from some of Britain’s most notorious outlaws.

But in John Godber’s version, history gets a thoroughly modern twist… Expect romance, robbery, danger, laughs and plenty of swagger as we head back to Yorkshire in 1769. 🐎💰

THE HIGHWAYMAN is on tour NOW — next stops:

📍 Pocklington ( Pocklington Arts Centre) — 15–17 October
📍 Hexham (Queen's Hall Arts Centre) — 28–29 October
📍 Richmond ( The Georgian Theatre Royal) — 30–31 October
📍 Bolton (Octagon Theatre Bolton) — 3–7 November
