A big thank you to LCC, Streetscene supervisors, and the community payback teams for their work at Dutch Farm.

A group of fantastic people gave their time over several days, clearing public access routes and the car park area, with a skip provided to take away debris.

This was a huge help as we get ready for our 180th anniversary celebrations and the SHREK Awards on July 1st.

It’s Pride month, a month to celebrate LGBTQ+ communities around the world 🏳️‍🌈

At You Matter, everyone is welcome, regardless of gender or sexuality. Our doors are open to anyone who needs support, and that’ll never change.

Service users at Bentley Road kicked off the celebrations by making colourful Safe Space Smoothies - a delicious way to mark Pride month together.

For many people, some services can feel fragmented, impersonal or difficult to navigate, particularly when life already feels unstable or overwhelming.

People often find themselves passed between organisations, expected to retell their story or fit into systems that were not designed around them.

We exist to close those gaps by bringing housing, specialist and psychologically informed care together, so people get support that fits what’s happening in their lives in the moment.

We provide specialist social care for individuals with significant health and complex social needs.

The residential support and person-centred clinical care at Hestia House are delivered with dignity and compassion, with staff providing personal care, medication support, meals, and meaningful activities.

The environment has been adapted to support mobility and physical health, and our team there works closely with GPs, hospital teams and adult social care to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Every person at Hestia House deserves to feel safe, cared for and seen. That's what our team shows up to do, every single day.

Research in England has found that around two-thirds of people admitted to an inpatient mental health rehabilitation unit achieve successful discharge within a year.

Over 40% go on to progress further in their recovery, moving from supported accommodation to more independent settings within three years.

That's what Reablement Homes are part of - a pathway that gives people the time and support to take those steps at their own pace.

We're hiring a Therapies Manager to join the RISE pathway at You Matter.

This is a part-time role (15 hours a week) for an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor, or therapist who wants to help grow and improve the delivery of therapeutic services across 1:1 work, groups, and workshops.

You'll work within a CAT-informed pathway, hold a small caseload, and play a key part in mentoring and guiding the people delivering therapy across the service.

The Safe Accommodation team marked International Families Day in the Liverpool sunshine with a picnic in the park.

It was an afternoon of warm weather, good company, and a perfect moment to pause and appreciate the people at the heart of everything we do. Days like this are a reminder of why this work matters so much.

If you need mental health support, here is how to access it.

1️⃣ Contact your Local Authority’s housing team (in Liverpool, this is called ‘Housing Solutions’)
2️⃣ If our service can meet your needs, they’ll send us a referral or refer you to a service better suited to you.
3️⃣ Once we receive a referral, we’ll be in touch with you.
4️⃣ We’ll then work through everything with you, and if it feels right for everyone, you’ll move into our service.

We have a range of mental health support services, including crisis support homes, Stepping Stones, Nightingale House and more, so we can be there for you no matter what you’re dealing with.

Residents from our young people’s service went for a walk in the park as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, enjoying the benefits of spending time in nature and staying active.

Each person also got their very own self-care kit packed with goodies and mindfulness tips to support them in the future.
