SOMETHING WILD IS COMING🫣

Meet Wildy!

Our first camper van and the latest addition to our rental fleet! 💚

We’ve been working behind the scenes to get everything ready, and we’re so excited to finally introduce her to you.

Wildy isn’t quite ready to welcome her first guests yet. We’re just waiting to get all the final documents and paperwork completed.

The plan? To have everything ready this month! 🙌

Then it’s officially time for Wildy to leave the driveway and start exploring🗺️

Now, a little warning from the Wildy team😂

We’ve got very used to our off-road track, and he can pretty much get anywhere and over anything! 🛞

But Wildy… well, Wildy is a bit of a sporty diva! 😂💅

She’s much lower and definitely prefers a nice smooth road rather than our usual “let’s see if we can get through there” adventures! 😅

So guys, when you get behind the wheel of Wildy — take it easy, watch those bumps, and leave the off-roading to the off-roaders! 😂

We really thought the weather would scare you away from camping… but how wrong we were! 🌧️⛺️

Camping in the rain can be so much fun too! Cosy, romantic, and absolutely majestic❤️

Weekend away! 🏕️☀️

The season has been so busy for us this year. Thank you to everyone who dropped off their tent boxes late on Sunday—it gave us the chance to extend our weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather, just like you did!

Welcome to our first campsite adventure! 🏕️

As many of you know, we usually love wild camping because it gives us the freedom we enjoy. However, you've been asking us for campsite recommendations from the very beginning, so here we go!

📍 Bwch-yn-Uchaf Caravan & Camping Site & B&B is located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, at the foot of the stunning Aran and Arenig mountain range, just one mile from Bala Lake.

The site is split into two areas:⛺ A ¾-acre Camping & Caravanning Club certified site with 12 electric pitches.🌿 A larger non-electric area for campers who want more space and privacy. The pitches are unallocated and unmarked, so you can choose your own spot, for example by the river, which we absolutely loved.

The main toilet block is located at the entrance and includes showers, toilets, disabled facilities, and a washing-up area. There's also another toilet and washing-up area further down the non-electric section, so you never have to walk too far.

For families, there's a small children's play area, and for dog owners, there's a secure enclosed dog run where your furry friends can enjoy some off-lead freedom, which our dogs absolutely loved! 🐶

Right next to the campsite is the Bala Lake Railway, offering a beautiful 9-mile return journey alongside Bala Lake through Snowdonia National Park. We didn't get the chance to try it this time because we ran out of time, but it's definitely on our list for our next visit!

💷 Prices start from just £12 per adult per night, with dogs costing only £1 each, which we think is fantastic value compared to many other campsites.

⭐ Would we recommend it? Absolutely! If you're looking for a peaceful campsite with plenty of space, beautiful scenery, and great facilities for both families and dogs, this is definitely one to add to your list. We didn't feel like it was overcrowded at all. We only had four other cars around us, which still gave us that wild camping vibe
