It's always amazing to host international guests and this year we're hosting an exotic member of the animal kingdom!

This unusual bird call has been heard all year and today this recording has been scrutinised by experts and they have confirmed that it is indeed a common hoopoe!

The next step is to catch a sighting 😃

Do you know someone that would be excited to catch a glimpse? Tag them in the comments 👇

Ginger has been exploring again! This time she's got into the duck house.

She's such a friendly member of the farm and all of the other animals are always pleased to see her 😍.

The ducks weren't at home today but the chickens come over to see what was going on 😊

Life is better when you share novel experiences with people you love. When you make a booking at Cyfie Farm, we do everything to bring special moments to you.

We've already covered the basics: fresh linens, comfy beds, smart TVs, fully functional kitchens and cosy living spaces.

Our speciality is adding experiences that are included in the price. It could be seeing a star-filled sky thanks to the dark skies of Mid Wales, it might be experiencing total silence, it could be that feeling of awe when you first see the views, or it could be a special shared experience with our friendly farm animals.

However you choose to spend your time at Cyfie Farm, you will undoubtedly experience something that will last well beyond your stay: uniquely valuable memories with the people you love.

Life on the farm is sometimes difficult and this little chicken knows this more than most. But even in the face of fear, she showed a level of courage that we can all be inspired by.

Courage is not the absence of fear, it's taking action despite fear.

These guys love a scratch and an old Christmas tree is just the thing for getting to those hard to reach places 😂.
