Our latest online journal, 'Planning a Trip to North Uist – Start Here', is a great read for anyone dreaming of visiting this beautiful corner of the Outer Hebrides.

You'll find us on the scenic Locheport Road, where our gallery is inspired by the colours, textures and wildlife of the Outer Hebrides, with handmade ceramics, original artwork and crafts inspired by island life.
Many visitors tell us that meeting local makers becomes one of the highlights of their trip and leaves them with lasting memories long after they've returned home.

WE’RE BACK! 🚤☀️

Bookings are open! After a long winter and some upgrades to the boat we’re back for another season. For those island bagging, we’re open to requests for private charters. It would be great to see you joining us on some adventures ☺️

The Cabin will be OPEN Monday 15 - Wed 17 June from 11am - 3pm daily.

We're then taking a wee mid-summer break and the Cabin will be CLOSED from Thursday 18 - Tues 23 June.

will be OPEN 24 hours a day for coffees, teas, snacks, home baking and our Druim Torrach Beef.

Join us on Sunday for an afternoon of cocktails, canapés and ceòl at Grogarry Lodge, with a live music session and drinks at the Downpour bar 🍸🎶

Booking is essential and tickets include canapés and a welcome cocktail from the bar, which will be open serving cocktails, mocktails and drams until 7pm.

UPDATE

The plant sale is still going ahead on Saturday at 11am, but unfortunately O’Henleys Bakehouse will not be there doing tea and cakes. But remember the Daliburgh Thrift Shop round the corner will be serving tea/coffee and homemade treats from 11am - 1pm.

O’Henleys Bakehouse will be doing tea and cakes at our plant sale on Saturday 13th June from 11am to 1pm in Southend Community Hall, Daliburgh.

Get out your diaries and save some dates, because we have a very busy month ahead of us here at the distillery and there are plenty of opportunities to get drenched in island flavour coming up!

🌊 Join us to celebrate World Oceans Day with a beach clean, seaweed forage and complimentary cocktail or dram at Culla Bay. Meeting at 11am on Saturday.

🎶 On Sunday we'll be serving up cocktails and mocktails from 4-7pm at Grogarry Lodge alongside some fantastic live tunes from local musicians.

🐝 On Tuesday 23rd we'll be hosting an extra special Downpour Gin tasting with The Bumblebee Conservation Trust as part of the annual Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival.

🍸 On Friday 26th we'll be celebrating the end of term with a late opening of the Island Life Bar. Join us for G&Ts, cocktails, mocktails and drams until 9pm. No need to book.

🫖 And on the last Saturday of the month we'll be hosting an Afternoon G&Tea with teapots of Downpour cocktails and tasty treats provided by O Henleys Bakehouse.

The doors are open and our visitor centre and bar team are ready to serve up ice cold G&Ts and a warm island welcome all month long!
