🏆✨ A little bit of exciting news from Thorny Bush! ✨🐾

We're delighted to share that our entry has been officially accepted for the Guest Experience Award at The Holiday Hive Awards 2026, in partnership with Lodgify! 🐝💛

Here at Thorny Bush, we've always believed that a holiday should be relaxing for everyone — including our four-legged guests! 🐶

From welcoming anxious and reactive dogs to providing peaceful, private spaces where dogs and their humans can truly switch off, we put our hearts into making every stay special.

We're incredibly proud of what we've created here in our little corner of Pembrokeshire, and even prouder of the wonderful guests who choose to stay with us. ❤️

🐾❄️ QUIETER DAYS, COSY NIGHTS & HAPPY DOGS 🔥

For some dogs, a holiday isn't about busy beaches, bustling towns or meeting lots of new friends. It's about space, peace and being able to relax. ❤️

And that's what makes winter in Pembrokeshire so special.

The summer crowds have gone, the beaches are quieter, the countryside is peaceful and there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy a slower pace of life.

Here at Thorny Bush, we understand that not every dog finds the world an easy place.

🐾 Reactive and anxious dogs are very welcome.
🐕 XL Bullies welcome too, subject to legal requirements.
🌿 Private, fully enclosed gardens with 1.2m fencing. 🏡 Just two cosy cabins, each with a log burner.
🐾 Our own enclosed dog exercise field.

No judgement. No expectations that your dog has to be sociable. Just somewhere you can enjoy a break together.

And after those chilly winter walks? There's nothing quite like curling up beside a warm log burner. 🔥

A little more of what's been happening behind the scenes at Thorny Bush lately... 🤎

We've been busy creating something a little bit special...

Beautiful little gift boxes filled with some of our favourite homemade Thorny Bush goodies, all carefully put together, nestled in rustic packaging and finished with those little touches that make a gift feel that bit more thoughtful. 🎁

Something lovely to give, something lovely to receive, and a little taste of Pembrokeshire tucked inside.

They're all ready now, and we've quietly popped them into our new online Honesty Shop.

🌿 The last mow of the year! 🌿

That's the final cut of 2026 on our lovely little camping pitch. Time to start packing everything away for winter and let the grass have a well-earned rest. 🍂

It's always a little sad putting everything away for another year, but we're already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in 2027! 🐾

And judging by the bookings, it's going to be another busy one!

And just like that… our summer season is over! 🍂🐾

What a summer it’s been.

Our brand-new exclusive enclosed camping pitch has had an absolutely outstanding first season — far better than we could ever have hoped — and incredibly, 2027 is already heading towards limited availability ❤️

Now autumn is creeping into Pembrokeshire, the pace starts to slow and the seasonal dog restrictions on the beaches are lifted, opening up even more beautiful coastline for you and your four-legged family to explore.

And honestly, this is one of our favourite times of year here.

Quieter beaches.
Peaceful coastal walks.
Cosy evenings.
And a little more breathing space to enjoy everything Pembrokeshire has to offer. 🍁

This summer we’ve welcomed so many reactive and anxious furry little ones who simply need somewhere they can relax without worrying about who might appear around the corner.

We’ve also had some of the most gorgeous XL Bullies stay with us — enormous heads, enormous hearts and, quite frankly, mostly interested in cuddles. 🥰🐾

That is exactly what Thorny Bush is about.

A place where dogs who sometimes find the rest of the world a little difficult can come away with their humans and just… be dogs.

Thank you so much to everyone who stayed with us this summer, returned to see us again, recommended us, shared our posts and trusted us with your precious dogs.

Now bring on muddy boots, empty beaches, autumn colours and cosy Pembrokeshire escapes. 🍂🐾❤️

The Den has its own enclosed garden, our 1-acre enclosed dog field is available for sole use, and we welcome up to 3 dogs — including XL Bullies.
