🌿🚗 DID YOU KNOW? You can explore Flåm in your very own mini electric car! 🇳🇴

When I visited beautiful Flåm on my Norwegian Fjords trip, I spotted something a little different from the usual sightseeing options! 💚
These fun little electric cars from eMobility Flåm offer a unique way to explore the spectacular scenery at your own pace.
Imagine driving through the stunning Flåm Valley, discovering the surrounding landscapes and stopping to take in those breathtaking Norwegian views along the way. 😍

✨ Here are a few of the options I spotted:
🚗 Flåm Valley tour – 2 hours
🏔️ Stegastein viewpoint tour – 2 hours
🌿 Aurland centre – 1 hour

The cars accommodate two people and include GPS and audio guidance, so you can learn a little about the area as you explore.

💜 Some encounters stay with you long after the journey ends… 💜

During my recent Ambassador cruise, I had the pleasure of meeting an absolute gentleman, Steve, known to his friends as Reggie.

Steve is living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and is now eight years on from his diagnosis. His journey is truly remarkable, but what touched me most was his determination to use his own experience to raise awareness of this devastating condition.
Steve had celebrated his 60th birthday just a couple of days earlier 🎂💜, and on our last sea day, with a lovely announcement from the Captain, fellow passengers were invited to come along, meet Steve and hear more about MND.

Alongside his wife Sue, Steve has also set up the charity MND Foundation, helping to shine a light on a condition that deserves greater awareness and understanding.
I was so pleased to be there, and even managed to persuade some of my fellow travel agents to join in too! 💜
Steve, it was a privilege to meet you. Thank you for sharing your story, for your warmth, and for reminding us that even while facing enormous personal challenges, we can still make a difference to others.
