We've been a bit quiet about what's going on behind the hoardings. Here it is.

A tired old hotel, stripped back and reimagined. New steel frame for the terrace. Granite underfoot. Glass everywhere. Timber cladding & fresh render. Planting that doesn't mind a bit of sea air.

A little storm wasn’t part of the building plans! 🌧️👀

The weather’s been keeping us on our toes at Grand 22 this week, slowing things down a touch… but we’re still making progress!

The scratch coat is going on, the block paving is taking shape and bit by bit, we’re getting closer to the finished result.

Rain or shine, there’s always something happening at Grand 22! 🚧

It's All Coming Together!

There's plenty happening behind the scenes. The scaffolding is up ready for a fresh K Rend finish, the granite paving is going down and we're getting ready to introduce timber cladding to the front of our new terrace.

And those wooden panels? 👀 They're only temporary! They'll eventually make way for the sleek glass balustrades, one of the finishing touches we're saving until last.

Little by little, our vision is becoming a reality and we can't wait to show you more!
