🎃👻 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃👻

I fell asleep by 8.30PM last night. 🤷‍♀️😴 Woke up early today, heading to work soon, have 5 cleans to do.

We've seen some scary messes in our time, but thankfully we've always got the right cleaning potion! 🧹🤣

Let's talk about the challenges of holiday-let cleaning! 🧹🏡

People often see a beautiful, freshly made bed, fluffy towels and a sparkling property ready for the next guests. But what they don't always see is everything that goes on behind the scenes to make that happen!

Holiday-let cleaning isn't your average clean. It's fast-paced, physically demanding and comes with its own set of challenges.

😅 Tight changeover times.
🛏️ Stripping, washing, drying and changing endless beds.
🧺 Mountains of laundry.
🧽 Making sure every little detail is guest-ready.
🔎 Checking cupboards, drawers and those easily forgotten corners.
⏰ Last-minute bookings and unexpected early arrivals.
🚿 Dealing with whatever the previous guests have left behind!

And let's not forget that we often have several properties to get through in one day, with the clock ticking and the next guests waiting to check in.

There is no room for cutting corners. Every property needs to be cleaned, checked and presented to the same high standard, EVERY single time.

It's physically exhausting, sometimes stressful, and definitely not as glamorous as these beautiful finished photos make it look! 😂

But there's nothing quite like walking out of a property knowing it's immaculate, the beds look beautiful and everything is just right.

At Nordic Cleaning Services, our name is on every clean, and we take that responsibility seriously.

To all my fellow holiday-let cleaners, I see you! ❤️ The early starts, the crazy changeover days, the laundry mountains and the never-ending attention to detail.

It's a tough job, but we do it with pride.

Good morning!

Working alongside the husband today 🙌 Honestly the best days! 🩷

We have the 10-bedroom property and it's not a same day changeover so just the two of us today! 🙂

Good evening!

Only one photo taken today! 📸 This is one of my favourite lodges to clean. It had a deep clean a couple of weeks ago and it feels so fresh! It was lovely seeing the sun 🌞 today after a few days of very wet and windy weather. 🌂
