A few of our younger guests have told their parents that Meidrim Meadows is their happy place. ❤️

And we can't think of a lovelier compliment.

Perhaps it's having an entire meadow to explore. The freedom to run around, make up games and spend hours outside. Or the excitement of sleeping in a shepherd's hut and watching the stars from the warmth of the firepit.

Whatever the reason, we love knowing that the memories made here stay with them long after they've gone home.

Sometimes two nights away are all it takes.

Mornings without the school run. Days spent exploring, climbing trees and getting muddy. Evenings around the firepit, toasting marshmallows and watching the stars come out.

At Meidrim Meadows, there's 4.5 acres of meadow to explore and just one shepherd's hut, so you've got the whole place to yourselves.

Some views are worth a little extra time in the car.

This was Mwnt yesterday, around 55 minutes from Meidrim Meadows. Well worth the drive for a few hours by the coast before heading back for a cosy evening in.

The beach was closed to protect seal pups. We didn’t spot any, although there have been recent sightings. You can still enjoy the views from above, so please respect the closure and give the wildlife its space.

A couple of nights away can be all you need to create a memorable half term.

At Meidrim Meadows, you have one shepherd’s hut in 4.5 acres of meadow, with no other guests on site. Spend a day exploring West Wales or stay close to the hut and enjoy having time to yourselves.

Cook something easy in the kitchen, get the log burner going and settle in for the evening. Tomorrow’s plans can wait until breakfast.

Following a cancellation, dates are now available between 18 and 29 October, with a minimum stay of two nights.

That Sunday evening feeling when you’re already thinking about Monday? Imagine having one more morning before you need to be anywhere.

From bed in the shepherd’s hut, you can look through the stargazer window at the night sky, then wake to the meadow outside. Put the kettle on when you’re ready. The day is still yours.
