As you can see Fletch and his mum had a lovely holiday at Drifters Cottage. They enjoyed good long walks visiting Kidwelly Castle, Penllergaer Valley Woods, the shipwrecks, lots of beach and woodland walks. Then they relaxed in the cottage afterwards.

We've been enjoying lots lots lovely beach walks every day and on the sand dunes yesterday we went to Amroth and Colby Woodland Gardens and had lovely paninis, they have a lovely craft shop there just passed the cafe. Loulou really loved it. We've had fish and chips from Bowens chippy which never disappoint and a meal with friends at The Ship Aground also perfectly, cake at our friends and today I'm going to try the new cafe Nicky's in Burry port with a lovely friend 🧡
I hope you like the video of our few days but please ignore the squiggly writing i couldn't get it removed 😆

Holidays at Drifters cottage gives you all this and more we are just 1 mile from Pembrey Country Park where you can enjoy Cefn Sidan's 8 miles of beautiful blue flag beach, there's a small section dogs on leads in high season. The country park has a lot to offer too for all the family, tobogganing, dry ski slope, adventure play, crazy golf, woodland walks, cycle hire, miniature railway, they often run events and they have a lovely cafe too. In the opposite direction we have Burry Port town, harbour, RNLI center that runs weekly practice drills, lighthouse, shops and 2 further beaches.

Having a lovely walk around the Pembrey Country Park. They have some lovely stalls there and the steam rally is fab, there are vintage cars and trucks. We've had a bite to eat at Yr Orsaf cafe. Weather has been a bit hit and miss but the sun has come out now.

Our lovely guests left yesterday after another 2 weeks holiday and they have already booked their holidays for 2027 and 2028 with us. They love Drifters Cottage so much and we love having such great guests. I'm so fortunate to have lots of brilliant guests.
We are at Drifters now and have a few jobs to do but like our guest said a change is as good as a rest 😆
