Windmill Farm Caravan Park A small, quiet adults only campsite in the heart of Lincolnshire - Baston Fen. Open March to 31 Oct

Welcome to Windmill Farm Caravan Park (Now Adult Only)

Windmill Farm Caravan Park is situated in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. The unspoilt sanctuary provides a release from everyday stresses, perfect for UK caravan holidays. The site is located at the entrance to Baston Fen Nature Reserve and the MacMillan Walk, opening the door on Lincolnshire's beauty. Visitors may also find our site convenient as a centre-point to visit local towns of interest including Stamford, Rutland, Spalding, Peterborough and Bourne. The site currently offers 26 level pitches, some hard standing, with electric hook-up for 24 of those pitches. Water, waste and chemical disposal points are provided with additional water supplied on each EHU station. We have a male and female toilet and shower block, with outdoor washing-up facilities. If you are interested in fishing, the River Glen and Counter Drain bisect the farm and are within easy walking distance. The site also has a private fishing pond within 20 metres of the pitches. The site offers excellent security, with entrance and exit through an electric security barrier, operated by entering a security code. The site is completely free draining and not prone to standing water. Well behaved dogs are accepted and the farm offers miles of private traffic free walks.

โœจ A little sparkle from one of our lovely regulars!

June has been busy making these beautiful diamond art creations, and we wanted to share her handiwork with you. So much patience goes into all those tiny details! ๐Ÿ’Ž

June also very kindly gifted us the gorgeous grey-framed Christmas picture in the centre โ€” such a thoughtful gift that weโ€™ll treasure. ๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ’š

Thank you, June, for your kindness and for letting us share your creations. Itโ€™s the people we meet and welcome back who make Windmill Farm such a special place.

๐Ÿ“ธ More wildlife moments from Windmill Farm! ๐ŸŒฟ

A big thank you to Barry Shaw for sharing these lovely photos taken during his regular visits throughout the season โ€” featuring a green woodpecker and some impressive buzzard sightings.

Our green woodpecker is becoming quite a regular on the park, so you may have spotted it yourself while staying with us. We think itโ€™s about time our feathered visitor had a name! ๐Ÿ’š

What should we call it? Pop your suggestions in the comments below โ€” weโ€™d love to hear them! ๐Ÿ‘‡

โ˜• A lovely finishing touch for our coffee hut!

A big thank you to our guest Barry Shaw , who gave us this wonderful wooden sign. Such a thoughtful gift, and it looks right at home at Windmill Farm. ๐Ÿ’š The Coffee Area sign was created by Staff and Service Users of the Day Opportunities Industrial Hub, run by Peterborough City Council โ€” a project that teaches skills to adults with learning disabilities and Barry worked with them on the wording and gave a donation!

Weโ€™ve put together this little space so our caravanners and campers can get together, enjoy a coffee and have a good chat โ€” perhaps swapping travel tips or planning their next adventure! ๐Ÿš

Coffee is provided; we simply ask for a small donation to help us keep serving good-quality coffee for everyone to enjoy. If you have stayed with us and enjoyed the coffee over the last couple of months let us know to help new campers join in!

Thank you again, Barry โ€” we really appreciate it! โ˜•

๐Ÿฆข Gliding gently towards the end of another season at Windmill Farmโ€ฆ

This beautiful photograph by Diane Hunt feels like the perfect way to close our season โ€” a little peace and time to reflect. ๐Ÿ’š

A special thank you to everyone who stayed with us this year. Whether you joined us for the first time or returned to a favourite spot, weโ€™ve loved welcoming you. Thank you for your lovely chats, kind reviews and wonderful photos, and for choosing our little corner of the countryside.

Weโ€™re ready for a well-earned rest, but already excited for next year! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿš

๐Ÿ“– Our booking diary is now open for 2027, and weโ€™ll be welcoming guests back from the beginning of March. Get in touch if youโ€™d like to book your next stay โ€” weโ€™d love to see you!

๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿš DONโ€™T PACK THE CARAVAN AWAY JUST YET! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ‚
If youโ€™re thinking the touring season is over, thereโ€™s still time for one more autumn getaway!
Windmill Farm Caravan Park is open throughout October, and with the mild weather continuing, itโ€™s a lovely time of year to enjoy a few peaceful days away before winter arrives.
Autumn at Windmill Farm means quieter roads, peaceful countryside, changing colours, plenty of wildlife and some lovely walks straight from the farm. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฆ
And when the evenings draw in, thereโ€™s something rather nice about getting cosy back in the caravan or motorhome after a day out exploring.
๐ŸŒฟ Adults only
๐Ÿ• Dog friendly โ€“ with warm-water dog shower
๐Ÿš Grass & hardstanding pitches
โšก Electric hook-up

๐ŸŒ•โœจ What a beautiful way to end a stay at Windmill Farm!
We received this stunning photograph from our lovely returning guests Andrew and Sue Fletcher, along with this message:

โ€œTo all the Ward family,
Thank you for yet another lovely stay at your farm. Once again we had a wonderful time, ending with a stunning view of the Harvest Moon over what must be one of the most attractive utility blocks on any campsite!
Until next timeโ€ฆ.
Very best regards,
Andrew and Sue Fletcherโ€

We have to admit, weโ€™ve never thought of our utility block as particularly photogenic before! ๐Ÿ˜‚ But under that beautiful moon and sky, we think Andrew and Sue may have a point.
Thank you both for the fantastic photo, your very kind words and, most importantly, for choosing to come back and stay with us again. โค๏ธ
It means such a lot to us as a small family-run park when guests return time after time.
Until next time, Andrew and Sue! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿš๐ŸŒ•

๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿฆ Spotted at Windmill Farm โ€“ more fantastic guest photography!
A big thank you to one of our regular customers, Barry Shaw, for sharing these brilliant photographs taken during his time at Windmill Farm.

Barry managed to capture some wonderful shots, including these beautiful robins โ€” and we especially love the action shot of one singing from the branch! โค๏ธ

He also caught this fantastic little bird in flight, which appears to be a Common Redstart โ€” not an easy photograph to get! I hope I have identified this one right - let me know if not!

Thank you, Barry, for letting us share your photographs โ€” and for continuing to capture the wildlife around Windmill Farm so beautifully. ๐Ÿ“ท๐ŸŒฟ
