This mother and daughter soaked it up properly — bubbles, chocolate strawberries, something pink in a glass, and views that stretch out over the fields for as far as the eye can see. Just the two of them, no rush, no plans beyond the hot tub and each other’s company.

There’s something about friends who’ve known you across every version of yourself — the ones who remember who you were before you figured out who you are, and loved you through all the versions in between. The friendships that don’t need constant tending, that pick up exactly where they left off no matter how much time has passed. That show up for the big moments and the ordinary ones, that make space for each other’s messy years and celebrate each other’s good ones. We’ve laughed until it hurt, cried when it counted, and somehow ended up here — still choosing each other, still making memories, still finding reasons to get together. Here’s to the friends who become family, the ones you hope to be sitting next to decades from now, still telling the same old stories and making a few new ones ✨🔗♾️
