A little shout-out to the lovely people at The Sen-Den autism friendly holidays and Community fundraising Porthcawl , who really do deserve some recognition for the work they do. 💙

Having first-hand experience of raising children with additional sensory needs, they bring a level of understanding and knowledge that we certainly don't have, and it's something we really admire.

We sourced the equipment for our own mini sensory room at The Old Bank from them, and couldn't be happier with it.

Alongside creating a fantastic range of sensory equipment, they also help provide holidays for children with autism and additional sensory needs.

If you're looking for sensory equipment, please do take a look at their website. They're a lovely business to support.

🚂❤️ Some things never lose their magic!

A lovely memory popped up on our Facebook today of Rosie, 19 years ago, enjoying her very first trip on La’al Ratty. Her little face says it all, the sheer wonder of a ride on a steam train! I love that picture! 🥰

Fast forward 19 years and Ratty is still going strong celebrating over 150 years, and there's still something magical about hearing that whistle blow and watching the steam rise from the engine. 🚂💨

Some things really are timeless, and La’al Ratty is definitely one of them! ❤️

🎄 And if you fancy making some memories of your own, we're still taking Christmas bookings at The Old Bank. A lovely base for a festive family getaway, with a little Cumbrian magic on the doorstep!
