Barra Sands Campsite Our campsite is located on the beautiful island of Barra in the Western islands of Scotland.

Barra Sands is located at the north end of the island surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches which are easily accessible by short walks or even shorter drives. Our site is particularly popular for people looking for a quiet relaxing getaway. With no direct beach access our campsite is ideal for people looking for a quiet base camp to explore the surrounding area and the rest of the island.

A perfect time to share some updated photos from the campsite! We currently have:
• Two camping pods
• 16 electric hook-ups
• Tent areas (some with windbreaks)
• Ladies & gents toilets and showers
• Washing up facilities & washing machine
• Direct beach access 🌊
• Waste disposal
